UNDER THE VORTEX OF BIGOTRY
He rests on my bosom with the two of us cramped
in this wasp nest of affection as I fondle his
Caucasoid hair gently like the fur of my mother’s
woollyback... All this while drenched in a false buoyancy for
a future we are all too aware is never meant for any of us...
He prods my hand softly which most times remains passive as I
am deluged deep with the thoughts of a forevermore that
is juxtaposed in my mind firmly together with the overwhelming
roistering of the present...All of which he understands as he too
not few a times is in conflict with the same....
He silently evokes an orison with the ungodliness in him having been
consumed by the trepidation of knowing he faces a future without
one whom he testifies to be his ride and die , song and poem , laughter and
cry... All this treachery on his beliefs done because we both are damned to
eternally tussle with this human created alligator that threatens to swallow us
whole...
His lips delicately touches mine in lust as for a moment we try to
dawdle ourselves in a passion which brings forth a false
diminutive forgetfulness leaving us smiling for a brief second...
All while the world around us continues preparing and getting ready to
slump it’s wrath on us...
He cries in his dreams at night as I wail in mine with our bodies
clutching on to each other the way an infant clenches on her lactating
Mother, not distinctly unperceptive of the fact that the seconds of our
pruning and surrender keeps on getting closer... All we remain with in
this abyss of the uncertain is only he hope that by a minor miracle we may
awaken from this Non self-instigated stupor...
