MUSIC OUR ENTERTAINER: A REVIEW OF MATT SIMONS' CATCH AND RELEASE (REMIX).
"Telling a perfect story it seems, the calm rhythms flowing quietly, welcoming you to a music world where musical instrumentals and vocals take awesome turns to achieve "the perfect production."
Imagining a cool atmosphere where your dancing steps are slowly taken and collected, that's what happens when you carefully listen to Matt Simons.
Music the Entertainer, this time around, is not the pedestrian, cacophonic and discordant sort of music being released these days. In Matt Simons "Catch and Release" (remix), creativity speaks when you come across special "mouth beats" in music, though it may seem rare, but it aids the artiste in getting the right perception of how he wants his music to be shaped, for it paints and pulchrify such musical compositions and especially spices it up to make it stand out. Isn't that great? Matt Simon nailed it there.
Music in a clearer sense is not "noise"; with the beauty of "Catch and Release," one can dance to it, needing no lyrics involved, no "rough dance" for you to enjoy the production. Despite the gravity of every situation we find ourselves, man at some points needs something calm, something soothing. The calmness music brings is worth listening to. In a better sense, you might need not dance to it, for it can quietly drive you to another world where you might be lost in deep thoughts.
Music being "not just noise", also tends to pass warm messages, Simon tends to express deeper meaning, so let's pay a keen attention to some lyrics here from "Catch and Release" (remix):
"There's a place I go to
where no one knows me
it's not lonely
it's a necessary thing"
...
"It's a place I made up
Find out what I'm made of
The nights I've stayed up
Counting stars and fighting sleep"
It's more reasonable when man seeks isolation at some point, because of the ups and downs that reality dishes. Matt Simons' "Catch and Release" (remix) is perfect for those struggling, broke and alone. Meanwhile it can also be so relaxing, elicit a placid feeling to it's listeners.
"Everybody got their reason
Everybody got their way
We're just catching and releasing
What builds up throughout the day
It gets into your body
And it flows right through your blood
We can tell each other secrets
And remember how to love"
Every human tends to face struggles. Each and everyone has their on way of dealing with it at the end of the day, but still, we have got to love, we have to be happy with life and the blissful moments we have experienced so far, for there is always hope for a perfect smile on our faces again. Matt Simons is just what anyone needs any time and any day.
