WHERE WE FIND LIGHT
We had dates
And showed off the secrets on our palms
Made way for the rain
With the yell of our bangles
And our mothers' heads came
Swivelling through the front door
We had cakes with God
To mark the poetries on our foreheads
Then threw pillows at our neighbours
Whilst dipping our legs in the puddle
A girl had smashed her tankard
And made homes from a piece
