BALANCED RATIO

How do we appeal the gods of the belly
Who constantly demands a sacrifice of toil?
Something robust with fiber
Or perhaps balanced with water.

And i can hear plates clinging together,
No so farther,
As it's content is about to journey yonder,
Still to wonder
The insatiable claws of hunger.

Vitamins as soldiers ready for war,
Carbohydrates for agility not to fall
Proteins in excess might cause a mess
But we still relish it's goodness!

A daily ration now like an arithmetic ratio
As we belch a sign of peace:
Dedication in the white seat with a growl
After all,
What we shall eat is a balanced ratio of "affordables".

COMPLEX SIMPLICITY

Lost in the complexity of life,
And the simplicity of destiny:
We all keep wanting more.
The head doesn't have a cap for shield
The cap doesn't even find any head to fit.

We'll just live as everyday people
We can't say we are strong nor are we feeble
We just find the X of the Y of one another
Complete the square of a brother
And we make the world a habitable place.

HEART RACE

Stroking, beating against the tide
Chocked up struggling for breath.
A medal to achieve while swallowing aqua
Subconscious but this is beautiful.

Arms ache, muscles sprain
Feet flap, I gasp
Looks like it's over!
But not so fast not yet
Gatherers momentum
Still at the watch of the pendulum.

Crowds in agape
No sign of you in aqua!
Revealing your goggles at the finish line,
Admist all hurdles and danger-
You certainly made my heart throb
Fighting for the breath you could get
You only made me grow akin.

You won today not just one race,
Both forever
The medal and me...
